StoreForge

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on StoreForge are affiliate links. Here's exactly how that works, which hosts pay us, and why it never changes a ranking.

StoreForge is reader-supported. Some of the outbound links to hosting providers are affiliate links: if you click one and later buy a plan, the provider pays us a commission at no additional cost to you. This is how the site funds its research. We disclose it inline near the links themselves, and every affiliate link is marked rel="sponsored nofollow".

Which hosts pay us

We may earn a commission from Nexcess, Liquid Web, Cloudways, SiteGround, Bluehost, Kinsta and A2 Hosting / Hosting.com, through their affiliate programs (some in-house, some via networks such as Impact). Commission amounts vary by host and plan and do not influence where a host lands in our rankings. Notably, some of the hosts we rate most highly for stores are also the ones with the best affiliate terms — which is exactly why we're careful to show our scoring criteria, so you can see the ranking is driven by store capacity, renewal honesty and PCI readiness, not payout.

The host that pays us nothing

The clearest proof that commissions don't drive our advice: we recommend Hetzner for developers self-managing Magento or WooCommerce, and Hetzner runs no cash affiliate program — we earn zero for naming it. When a host that pays us nothing is the right answer, we say so. You'll find that pick in our best ecommerce hosting ranking.

Prices and accuracy

All prices are advertised rates with the date we read them, and they change often — always confirm the current intro and renewal price on the host's own site before buying. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any host we cover, and we are not paid for placement. If a ranking ever looks like it's for sale, email us and hold us to it.
